Dermabrasion

Dermabrasion is an exfoliation method that incorporates a rotating, mechanical instrument to effectively and efficiently remove the upper-most dead layers of skin on the face.

How does dermabrasion work?

Through this exfoliation process, new skin is encouraged to regenerate.

Once the outer layer of your skin has been exfoliated, we have an optimum opportunity to deliver serums and hydrating moisturisers to the fresh layer of skin, where it will be readily absorbed.

What does dermabrasion treat?

Dermabrasion treatments work very well to treat skin that has been damaged due to overexposure to the sun. They are also effective on improving uneven texture, wrinkles, fine lines, age spots and general lacklustre skin tone.

“When performed by a trained professional, dermabrasion is a safe and effective skin exfoliating procedure that can remove unevenness, lines and spots from the skin, allowing it to heal and regenerate new skin in a natural way.

“It is especially suitable for patients with skin of colour as no harsh chemicals are used.”
