Dermal Fillers

Our top brand dermal fillers are based on hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance in the body which adds volume and softness by retaining water within the skin.

Dermal fillers are used to replenish the volume that is naturally lost over the years, by injecting hyaluronic acid gel directly into specific areas on the face and body.

This is a highly versatile treatment which can deliver a rounder and fuller look, reduce creases, tackle deep lines and hollows and even be used to add aesthetic structure to the face or a youthful ‘lift’.

The procedure is very effective for clients with skin of colour.

How do dermal fillers work?

Hyaluronic acid levels in the upper layer of the skin can deplete with age, making certain parts around the face and body look old, tired or ‘deflated’.  Injections with dermal fillers restore the hyaluronic acid levels around areas of the dermis (upper) layer skin which are injected, causing them to plump up.

What do dermal fillers treat?

Dermal fillers can be used for a variety of reasons:

  • Replenish lost volume to reduce wrinkles and deep lines, thus, restoring youthful and vibrant looks
  • Reshape the lips (lip fillers or lip enhancement)

  • Reduce lines and wrinkles around the nose and mouth

  • Improve facial contours in the skin, making them look younger, fresher and more appealing. See also chin enhancement and cheek enhancement

“Injectable dermal fillers are a very comfortable and pain-free procedure. We administer only enough local anaesthetic to numb the affected area before proceeding with the treatment which takes about an hour or less.

“Darker skin is more prone to the effects of ageing – dermal fillers are a safe and practical way of turning back the clock while rejuvenating your skin.”
